Dr. Bob Barrett Lecture Series Featuring Moises Serrano-Cruz

The UNC Charlotte Department of Counseling and Office of School and Community Partnerships is pleased to present the Dr. Bob Barret Lecture Series on Thursday, November 1 at 7 p.m. in the UNC Charlotte Cato College of Education Building Room 010.  Moises Serrano-Cruz will serve as the keynote speaker. 

Serrano-Cruz is an openly queer and undocumented activist and storyteller who has lived most of his life in Yadkin County, NC and his presentation will incorporate these aspects of his life.  His film, "forbidden: Undocumented and Queer in Rural America," will be featured at the Multicultural Issues in Counseling Conference will take place on Friday, November 2.
