The sweeping story of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, their journey, their struggles and their true role in American history will be described by historian Malinda Maynor Lowery, a Lumbee and author of "The Lumbee Indians: An American Struggle."

Lowery is an associate professor of history and director of the Center for the Study of the American South at UNC Chapel Hill.

Visitor parking is available for a minimal fee  in the Cone parking deck and East 1 parking deck.
